(SENIOR) PLANNER

Melle Transport is a young, growing, logistics service provider in Bergschenhoek. We provide transport throughout Europe and are currently growing strongly. We are specialized in transporting sea containers, nationally and internationally. Furthermore, we have dry, refrigerated, (non) ADR transport.

Hard work and a good atmosphere go hand in hand at Melle Transport. The organization is clear and the lines are short. In the office, 6 planners coordinate over 40 trucks every day. The office has an open and informal atmosphere. Management is also often present and the door is always open for a question or a chat.

What will you do?

You and your colleagues ensure that trucks are scheduled;

Proactively communicate with your customers and with various warehouse and customer service in Europe;

Supporting your colleagues in case of problem files or calamities:

Ensuring that the trucks are put to extra good use, such as combining import and export;

Keeping an overview of the entire fleet so that you can provide specific customer requests with the right solution;

As chief planner, you will support the management in areas such as coordination with customers, troubleshooting and damage claims.

Your colleagues can always come to you for questions or support

You have an HBO level of education

A must is that you are familiar with planning of international container transport

You have the potential/ambition to lead and enjoy contributing to the management of the company.

You are fluent in Dutch, English and German.
