Transport Planner (Fulltime)
As a Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods and materials from one location to another. You will plan and organize the entire logistics process, including shipping, transportation and storage of goods. You will work closely with transportation companies, warehouses and other stakeholders to ensure that the logistics process runs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Daily we handle inbound and outbound a varying number of orders, no day is the same and providing quality in these challenges is paramount! After all, without transportation, everything stands still.
What will you do?

Your focus is a conclusive planning, of the right delivery at the right place, within the specified time;

Within the team with your colleagues, dividing tasks in good consultation between the ongoing daily planning, planning for tomorrow and beyond, order entry, etc.;

Proactively communicate with customers, warehouses and customer services;

Quoting rates, following up on quotations;
-
Handling, registration and follow-up of complaints;
-
Checking and approving invoices from charters/shippers;
-
Monitoring the correct execution of tasks by the drivers;

Identifying bottlenecks in the work processes and implementing improvements;

You supervise outgoing and incoming transports in the planning and take care of solving and following up on occurring problems;

All occurring necessary work in the department.
Who are we looking for?

Hbo education or Hbo work/thought level towards Logistics
-
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. German is an advantage;

Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

Qualities: Service and solution oriented, stress resistant, team player and independent, accurate, taking initiative and good at planning and organizing.
